The USU Civil and Environmental Engineering Department teaches students to apply engineering principles to various situations. Future civil engineers learn how to design, construct, and operate numerous physical structures used in transportation, irrigation, geotechnical areas, etc. Environmental engineering students will learn to utilize natural resources in ways that are not harmful to the environment, working to manage pollution, water and air quality, biofuel production, etc. The publications found in this collection all deal with various aspects of civil and environmental engineering, giving readers an improved understanding of how the principles of engineering can be utilized to create a cleaner, safer world.
