Abstract

Individual ranchers want to know if it is profitable to make investments in range improvement. Public land agencies are also interested in the economics of range improvements, especially with the pressure for economic justification by Public Programs Budget System (P.P.B.S.). Several alternative approaches to economic justification of range improvements will be discussed in this paper.
