USU is committed to the open dissemination of knowledge and thus requires that theses and dissertations be submitted to UMI/ProQuest and to DigitalCommons@USU. In rare cases, the document may be embargoed for five years after graduation, with an option to extend the embargo indefinitely. Embargo of a thesis or dissertation must be approved by the adviser, the department head, and the Dean of Graduate Studies. You must also submit a physical copy of your paper to the library in order to complete the library requirement. If you do not complete the library requirement, your degree will not be awarded.
