Abstract

The team of Mikaela Ashcroft and DaeSean Jones will be researching and observing the moons Ganymede of Jupiter and Titan of Saturn. For these observations to be obtained, we will be using materials provided from Utah State University’s physics department, including a high-intensity telescope--whose permission of use has already been obtained--an astrophysical spectroscope and satellite imagery (using the Juno and Cassini-Huygens satellites) of both Ganymede and Titan to determine background waves of these two protoplanets. Information from the telescope will be procured from biweekly measurements of these two moons.
