Abstract
At present, 15 Nearctic species are assigned to the chalcidoid genus Aprostocet1ts Westwood. An additional one, A. coelioxydis, new species, is described, and a key is presented to all the species except for 3 species that cannot be placed. Information is given also on the types of all the species, with lectotype designations where necessary. The available data on distribution and hosts are summarized.
