Project summary, description or abstract: This dataset contains model estimates of the proportion of the adult population who report having supplies at home to use in case of a disaster, at the state level and Core-Based Statistical Area (CBSA) level in the U.S. 8. Brief description of collection and processing of data: Estimates and margins of error are derived from a multilevel regression and poststratification (MRP) model based on national surveys of U.S. adults (18+) conducted from April through November 2015 (n=11,260). Margins of error represent 95% prediction intervals. Estimates were validated against separate state-level surveys and American Housing Survey data for selected metropolitan areas. See associated publication for details. 9. Description of files (names, or if too numerous, number of files, file type(s): Òstate_2015_table.csvÓ contains estimated proportion of adults (18+) who have set aside supplies at home in case of a disaster at the state level for 2015. Òcbsa_2015_table.csvÓ contains estimated proportion of adults (18+) who have set aside supplies at home in case of a disaster at the Core-Based Statistical Area level for 2015. 10.
