Abstract
For the last fifteen years, the turkey growers throughout the United States have suffered a great financial loss from the turkey disease synovitis. This disease, commonly called weak leg or turkey arthritis, is a generalized staphylococcal infection. The etiological agent of this infection is Micrococcus pyogenes var. aureus.
