Abstract

Histological demonstration of bone has long presented a special and most difficult problem in histopathological laboratories. Many and varied techniques are described in the literature, but most of them concern only special phases of the total process. Also, many techniques which are applicable to the processing of small and yound animal bones are not suitable to routine processing of larger or adult mammalian bones.
