Abstract

Lygus pratensis, generally known as the tarnished plant-bug, is one of our most common and important insect pests. It has been reported from all sections of United States, Canada and many foreign countries. Numerous references are obtainable as to its presence and importance in this and foreign countries. However, the references are principally notes on occurrence and injury to various plants reported from practically all sections of the country.
