Abstract

Nabis alternatus Parshley is a hemipterous insect belonging to the family Nabidae. It is commonly found in alfalfa fields, among small grains, native grasses, and on rangeland throughout Utah. A need for life cycle studies has existed for species of this family. This becomes evident as one reads the fragmentary reports of their habits as insect predators.
