Abstract
Physical description Bare Lake is a small, unstratified lake located on the southwest end of Kodiak Island, Alaska. The lake occupies an oval-shaped basin with a maximum length of 1,222 meters, a maximum width of 495 meters and a total area of approximately 49 hectares. It has a maximum depth of 7.5 meters and a mean depth of 4 meters (Figure 1).
