Abstract
No extensive investigation has been made of the trichomonads living in the cecum of cattle. Two species of trichomonads found in the intestinal tract of cattle have been described. Trichomonas bovis was described by Pavlov and Dimitrov (22). Trichomonas enteris was described by Christl (5). The descriptions given were not complete in that no mention of parabasal bodies was made and specimens stained by methods other than iron-hematoxylin were not described.
