Abstract
The interrelationships that exist between mammals and their habitat have been of profound interest to mammalogists and ecologists for many years. The ecology of the mammal has been given equal rank with that of its taxonomy and distribution. It becomes apparent to anyone studying mammals that a great affinity exists between them and the habitat in which they live.
