Abstract
The bullfrong Rana catesbeiana Shaw, the largest of the American frogs, is not natural to Utah, but has been introduced into several areas within the last 3 decades. Most people of Utah have never heard of bullfrogs, and fewer have seen them. The bullfrog is so different from the little leopard frog Rana Pipiens, that people who know the latter, cannot comprehend a frog having such a giant size.
