This discussion will focus on the ways instructors can engage students through the use of popular culture in the classroom. By using examples from Jason’s own classroom experiences, and knowing what students come into class caring about (and what they could potentially care about), this breakout session will empower instructors with new ways to forge classroom conversations and bonds.
