Description

Join Rachael Levay, acquisitions editor for the Utah State University Press, for a discussion about the University presses in general, and USUP in particular, and what makes UPs unique in the scholarly publishing ecosystem. As a small press with several open access series and imprints, USUP has an interesting point of view on this increasingly important topic. Rachael will explore not just the benefits of OA publishing in humanities and social sciences, but also concerns about the future of sustainability of OA and how we, as scholars, should think about our publications in relationship to larger structural systems within higher education.
