Abstract

The research described in this report was supported by the Utah Agricultural Experiment Station (UABS) through the Economics Research Institute (ERI) in the Department of Economics at Utah State University in 2005. The ERI was founded in 1965 and has provided critical support for graduate students to assist in economics research important to Utah, the western region of the United States, the nation, and the world. This type of support is essential for training students in the art and science of economics that will aid them in being tomorrow's decision makers. The publications cited in this document represent research publications and papers resulting from support provided by UABS through the ERI. Boldface type is used to identify Utah State University Department of Economics faculty and specialists; students' names are underlined.
