Open Educational Resources
Open Educational Resources (OER) are learning and teaching materials that make education more accessible, affordable, and adaptable to students and faculty. OER either reside in the public domain or are licensed under an open license (such as Creative Commons) that allows users flexibility to revise, remix, reuse, redistribute, and retain content depending on the license. Higher education and library initiatives encourage faculty to implement OER to increase affordability in education and support lifelong learning. Our website outlines more information on the OER initiative at Utah State.
