Abstract
In 1951, Utah State University became one of the first four Land Grant Universities to participate in U.S. technical assistance programs directed to the developing nations of the world. Since that early program in Iran, USU Faculty have assisted in comparable developmental activites in many parts of the world. In the process, USU has attained a premier reputation for the high quality of its faculty and program achievements.
