Abstract
The present era in the United States finds the people leaning more and more toward automation. The use of automatic machines in merchandising products is becoming increasingly important in meeting competition and in developing new outlets for dairy products.
The increase in sales of milk and related products has been furthered by the increased use of vending and dispensing machines.
A knowledge of the methods and special characteristics associated with vending and dispensing is important if the dairy industry is to increase sales and develop a greater market for dairy products.
