Abstract
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs started in the United States in the 1980s. The basic concept of the CSA program is to form partnerships between consumers and farmers where consumers pay for farm products (or shares) in advance and farmers commit to supplying a sufficient quantity, quality, and variety of products across the season.
