Abstract
Greater sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus; hereafter sage-grouse or grouse), the largest of all grouse species in North America, are dependent on sagebrush (Artemisia spp.) communities throughout their range for annual food and cover (Wallestad 1975, Wallestad and Eng 1975).
