Abstract

The budget presented in this fact sheet contains sample costs and returns for a typical cow-calf ranching operation in Northern Utah. It is intended to be a guide used to estimate income and expenses as well as list inputs such as feed, veterinary costs and production practices. The budget also provides a framework for the whole ranch/farm plan.
