Abstract
Being a dual major in Technical Writing and Graphic Design, I have seen interesting contradictions when it comes to ideals concerning communication. From my technical writing classes I have learned that the text is more important than the design, whereas in my graphic design classes I have learned the opposite. I propose the best communication is created by paying equal attention to text and design. Through research and experimentation I will determine whether this hypothesis proves correct.
