Description

The areas around Great Salt Lake are the most populous in the state and the increase in population is not showing signs of slowing. What will be the water needs of this growing population 50 years from now and how will they be met? The Utah Division of Water Resources, in its state water planning programs, estimates water supplies and use and then projects them into the future. It also discusses how those future needs may be met and important issues that will be have to be considered in meeting those needs.
