Abstract
In this video I'll continue teaching you about various reactions (with mechanisms) that we can do using carbonyl compounds, due to the acidities of their alpha-hydrogens. These reactions include alpha-alkylation, halogenation, beta-alkylation via conjugate addition, alcohol dehydration, the aldol reaction, and the Diekmann and diketone condensations. --Dr. Mike Christiansen from Utah State University
