Abstract

Pasitomachthes has hitherto been known only from the two species P. nigerrimus Bischoff, from Natal, and P. bicolor Bischoff, from Madagascar, both described from single female examples. The genus has, however, a much wider range than is suggested by these localities, being well distributed in southern Africa as far north as the Congo (Katanga). The present species is described from specimens of both sexes from Rhodesia (Bulawayo).
