Abstract
73 species belonging to the genus Lasioglossum are reported from Israel and Sinai; another 5 species are also mentioned, occurring in neighboring areas, which probably will also be found later in Israel. The following new taxa of the genus Lasioglossum, subgenus Evylaeus are described by Ember: L. leptocephalum (Bluthgen) ssp. Sinaiticum “, L. israelense “ L. sublineare “ ‘, L. masculum (Perez) ‘, L. mose “, L. katharinae “, L. pseudosphecodimorphum (Bluthgen) ‘, L. balneorum “ ‘, L. nabardlcum (Bluthgen) ‘, L. politum (Schenck) ssp. Aramaeum “ ‘.
