The Listen in the Library series featured a different group of performers each month, running from October through April. Performers were responsible for selecting their own repertoire for an approximately 30-minute concert. Program included a range of musical styles and highlighted different areas from the Music Department, from classical and jazz instrumental ensembles, to music therapy students, to Chamber Singers. In total, 78 student musicians and 7 department faculty were involved in the series.
The Museum + Music series was hosted by the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (NEHMA). The goal was to connect the visual with the aural by presenting music that relates to artwork in the museum’s collection.
