Abstract
Repast is a software framework for agent-based simulation created by Social Science Research Computing at the University of Chicago. It provides a library of classes for creating, running, displaying, and collecting data from an agent-based simulation. This paper provides an overview of Repast's design, features, and capabilities and describes the implementation of some of its key abstractions.
