Abstract

This is a project that investigates the blurry line between flat out stealing someone else’s work and appropriating their work in a new unique way that builds upon the creation. There seems to be a negative connotation associated with directly using someone else’s work when creating. An argument could be made that using someone else’s work can be a really good thing. This project would explore ideas of plagiarism, appropriating and how it can often lead to good ideas.
