Abstract

This project is being submitted as part of the requirements for ARTH 3270, Native North American Art. Great Basin artwork has many different animal motifs that important symbols in their culture. This project will explore the connection between several different animal motifs and the mythology that inspires the forms and how it is reflected in their culture.
