Description

A macro view with the intent to stimulate interdisciplinary discussion and exchange of ideas related to water resources, energy, climate change, poverty, and the law will be presented. Relationships between water resources, electricity and the world economy will be discussed. Energy choices will have an effect on global warming which can have a significant effect on future food production. These issues could possibly force a major restructuring of our world society. The expansion and internationalization of U.S. tort law could potentially help channel our resource choices toward sustainability. Viable solutions will require an understanding of the relationships between many disciplines and an analysis of the possible long term effects of our choices.
