Description
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a useful tool for studying the earth’s surface. YINSAR is a low-cost SAR, developed at BYU. Its purpose is to increase the use of SAR data in scientific and commercial applications. This paper describes the YINSAR instrument and shows some initial SAR images created with it. An estimation of the resolution of the images is made, and the future work to improve YINSAR is stated.
