Author Biography
Helen Wong Smith is the Archivist for University Records at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Earning degrees in Hawaiian Studies and MLIS from this cmapus, she has held numerous positions in Hawai'i, including Historical Specialist for the Land Assets of Kamehameha Schools, the largest private land owner in the state, Hawaiian Collection Librarian at the University of Hawai'i Hilo, and lead archivist for the Pacific Island Network of the National Park Service.
