Description
A concise overview of turbulence modeling challenges is presented along with developmental concerns of traditional turbulence models. An alternate energyenstrophy turbulence model developed by Dr. Warren Phillips is given followed by plans for closing the new model and evaluating the subsequent closure coefficients. This paper is effectively an overview of a PhD dissertation proposal and includes only a brief description of the project outline.
