Description
Electric Vehicle Road Trip Study: These data contain anonymized responses to a survey designed to investigate the experiences, perceptions, barriers, and opportunities identified by electric vehicle (EV) drivers regarding road trips to recreational areas (like national parks) and for recreational activities.

Methodology
Data was gathered via a Qualtrics Survey (see Instrument.pdf accompanying this README file) from March 2022 through May 2022. Data was downloaded in CSV format from the Qualtrics format, then processed and formatted for analysis using R. All analysis was similarly performed in R.
The data and analysis aimed to accomplish three research objectives (ROs): 1) Construct a latent variable structure to analyze Range Anxiety in the Survey Data 2) Test for statistically significant associations between driver demographics and the constructed latent variables. 3) Assess multiple structural equation models that predict trip-making variables reported in the survey from the latent variables and evaluate the potential for mediation or moderation in the model structure.
Descriptive analysis of the data was also performed. For further details, please read the headers and comments of the R script files.

Code Lists
See the DataDictionary.csv file accompanying this README file. The dictionary contains the following fields describing variables in the scripts and model outputs:
- Variable: Name of variable in the script or model output
- Readable Name: A long-form name of the variable used for figures and description in text.
- Type: The value type (Date/Time, Integer, Numeric, Boolean, Text, Factor, Ordered Factor) of the variable. Note factors are categorical variables even if assigned a numeric code value.
- Definition: A description of the variable meaning, often including the list of allowed values.
- Allowed Values: The set of allowed values (typically a numeric range, a list, or other data validation restrictions) for the variable.
- Unit of Measure: The accompanying units of the variable. Where left blank, units are either not physically relevant or the quantity is dimensionless (such as in the case of variables representing a proportion).
