This project investigates the influence of coherent structures on the decay of turbulent kinetic energy (TKE). The work was conducted as part of the PhD research in Mechanical Engineering by Ankit Gautam at Utah State University.

Methodology
The data were obtained using two-dimensional Particle Image Velocimetry (2D PIV) with LaVision DaVis 10 software. Individual DaVis vector files were post-processed and combined into single tabular MATLAB files using MATLAB 2024.
