Abstract
Pollaccia borealis sp.nov. is described from a purple-brown leaf spot disease of aspen (Populus tremuloides Michx.) in northern British Columbia and the Yukon Territory, Canada. Conidia were produced on malt agar at temperatures of 20–23 °C.
