Abstract
Radioecological studies in the Enterprise Radiation Forest were initiated in 1968 as a joint effort between the U. S. Atomic Energy Commission (AEC), Division of Biomedical and Environmental Research, and the U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service, North Central Forest Experimental Station, Institute of Forest Genetics in Rhine-lander, Wis. Radiation project was to provide comprehensive information on the effects of ionizing radiation on several typical North American forest ecosystems.
