Abstract
Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers were applied to 15-year-old quaking aspen developing on a burned site in interior Alaska. After two years of nutrient application, maximum tip, diameter, and basal area growth averaged 27.1 cm, .72 cm. and 2.9 cm per tree, respectively, greater than controls.
