Abstract
Removal of apices from quaking aspen (Populus tremuloides Michx.) root suckers at different stages of development prevented the establishment or reduced the effects of apical dominance and increased the number of sucker apices produced from root cuttings. Correlative inhibition by apical buds appeared to be influenced by environment. Forest Sci. 18:147-149.
