Abstract
Forest pathologists in many countries are considering the serious problems that may arise through the movement of internationally dangerous diseases from one country to another. As a preliminary step in facilitating this program, Riker (9) as a member of the working group on Foreign Tree Diseases in Section 24 (Protection) of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations has consulted with forest authorities in 16 countries.
