Abstract
The present study was undertaken to clarify the taxonomy of the species of Tiphia occurring in Cuba and Hispaniola by redescription of the two previously known species and description of six additional new species. No other genera of Tiphiidae are known to occur in this area except for Myzinum whose species were revised by the second author in two earlier contributions.
