Abstract
Descriptions, descriptive and distributional notes are given for the species occurring from British Columbia, the United States west of the 100th meridian and south to Panama. There are keys to the species discussed in the genera Tiphia and Paratiphia and new synonomy in the genera Krombeinia and Neotiphia. In the genus Tiphia the new species described are portalae, alamosae, roda, barberi, sculleni, nona, essigi, schlingeri, cuernavacae, dreisbachi, tepola, moreliae, hurdi, orizabae, williamsi, guadalupae, evansi, veracruzae, and litoris. In the genus Paratiphia the new species described are lagosae, pachucae, hurdi, and pueblae.
