Abstract
In the years 1948-50 investigations on the working speed of honey-bees (Apis) and humble-bees (Bombus) in the pollination of red clover (Trifolium pratense) were carried out in the island of Funen in the central part of Denmark. Additional investigations and observations have taken place in North Sealand during the summer of 1951.
