Abstract
Noteable wasps and bees (Hym., Aculeata) taken on Welsh sand dunes and a plea for help. - I am carrying out a review of the aculeate wasps and bees found on the sand dunes of England and Wales. During 1988 I visited several Welsh sand dunes and now report the noteable species (Falk, S., 1991, review of the scarce and threatened bees, wasps and ants of Great Britian. research and Survey in Nature Conservation, No. 35, English Nature) that I found. I have also included some of my older records, all from July, during 1966 (Rhosneigr dunes), 1968 (Llagennith Burrows) and 1969 (Morpha Bychan).
