Abstract
Megachile rotundata has been studied as a pollinator of alfalfa since 1976 in Spain. Endemic, univoltine populations were field-trapped in Spain and these populations have been increased as the biology of parasites have been studied and control methods devised, especially for chalcid wasp species. The present status of Coelioxys studies are outlined and new reports of nest associates are listed.
