Abstract
Information on the bionomics of a species of Scrapteropsis is presented for the first time. Unusual features include thermo regulation by nest-site selection and facultative oligolecty on Acer spicatwn. Nests have only one or two cells, but some females make multiple nests. Details regarding habitat, host, nest structure, phenology, brood, and associates are provided.
