Abstract
This study assesses two reciprocal factors that affect crop yields: the positive factor of insect pollination (usually by bees), and the negative factor of the killing of crop pollinators by pest control measures. One of the aims of integrated pest management is to reduce this wasteful destruction of beneficial insects.
